Jennette McCurdy’s Birthday Wish: Help the Kids of St. Jude!
Hey everyone! Many of you know that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is really important to me. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with unforgettable patients during visits to the hospital and while attending fun events, all in support of the hospital’s incredible mission to find cures and save children battling cancer and other deadly diseases. And, thanks to the generosity of donors, families never pay St. Jude for anything. Care, lodging, food and travel are all covered!
When I visited St. Jude last summer, my buddy Caleb gave me a cool shadowbox that displays photos taken of us during previous visits. It’s so special to me, and this year, my birthday wish is for you to join me in giving something meaningful back to Caleb, Hannah and all the kids of St. Jude. Please donate here and help me raise $500. No amount is too small. For example, $8 will provide a doll that helps patients understand medical treatment and procedures, and $25 covers the costs of a No Mo Chemo Party (a celebration of a patient completing chemotherapy treatment).
Please give whatever you can, and thanks for supporting me and St. Jude kids!
OK! Magazine - First look at Lisa Kudrow on Wendell & Vinnie
While iCarly’s Jennette McCurdy is off being hilarious on her new Nickelodeon spin-off, Sam & Cat, her iCarly co-star, Jerry Trainor, is doing the same on his new show, Wendell & Vinnie.
The show is basically the TV version of Big Daddy, where a guy who owns a pop culture paraphranelia store takes custody of his 12-year-old nephew, Vinnie (played by Buddy Handleson) with the help of his sister, Wilma (Nicole Sullivan from King of Queens). And the show has already nabbed some pretty amazing guest stars, including Friends’ veteran Lisa Kudrow!
Check out this EXCLUSIVE first look of Phoebe Buffay, uh, Lisa on this week’s episode of Wendell and Vinnie, where she plays Natasha, Wendell’s biggest business competitor looking to snag the same cool piece of movie swag. Ah, it’s great to have her back on TV.
Lisa’s episode of Wendell & Vinnie airs this Thursday, June 13 at 8:30pm on Nickelodeon! Are you going to tune in? Was she your favorite Friends character?
